Mobile shelters will be set up at train stations in the Kyiv region to protect passengers in the event of enemy shelling. The decision has already been approved by the regional military administration, and its implementation will be carried out jointly with Ukrzaliznytsia and local communities, as directed by the Defense Council headquarters.
The need for such protective structures remains high due to constant air attacks, as railway passenger areas are also becoming targets of enemy strikes. Involving major national companies should accelerate and streamline the process of setting up mobile safety stations near passenger traffic areas.
This was announced by Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.
Earlier, Klitschko complained that it is impossible to officially use mobile shelters in the capital because state building codes (DBN) have not been developed for them.
As a reminder, in Zaporizhzhia, there are plans to install special modular shelters in the courtyards of high-rise buildings.
