The NBU set the dollar exchange rate for May 22
The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rates for Friday, May 22. The hryvnia-to-dollar exchange rate has been set at 44.23 UAH/USD, while the euro is valued at 51.30 UAH/EUR. Thus, the national currency has maintained the levels of the previous day, when the exchange rate reached a new all-time high.
According to data on the regulator’s website, the hryvnia also remained at the previous level against the euro: the official exchange rate for the European currency on Friday was set at 51.30 hryvnia per euro.
On Ukraine’s interbank currency market, by 4:00 p.m., the hryvnia’s exchange rate against the dollar stood at 44.24/44.27 UAH/USD, and against the euro at 51.31/51.32 UAH/EUR.
