Estonia's new ambassador has begun her duties in Ukraine
Estonia’s new ambassador to Ukraine, Tiina Intelmann, has officially begun her diplomatic duties in Kyiv.
During her first official meeting, Tiina Intelmann presented copies of her credentials to Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yevhen Perebyinus.
The parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Estonia.
Special attention was paid during the talks to Ukraine’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Following the meeting, Intelmann and Perebyinis reaffirmed their readiness for continued close coordination in supporting Ukraine’s progress toward the European Union and NATO.
The new ambassador’s inauguration comes against the backdrop of Estonia’s active support for Ukraine and close cooperation between the two countries on issues of European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

Earlier, German Ambassador Heiko Toms concluded his diplomatic mission in Kyiv and bid farewell to the Ukrainian people.
In addition, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree relieving Olga Stefanishyna of her duties as Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States.
Olga Stefanishyna stated that the decision to step down as Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States was her own initiative. She noted that she herself had decided to resign from her diplomatic post.
