The government has allocated more than 157 million hryvnias for the energy sectors of the Sumy and Kherson regions

The government has allocated more than 157 million hryvnias from the reserve fund for the restoration and protection of energy facilities in the Sumy and Kherson regions.

Where the funds will go

107 million hryvnias are earmarked for the Sumy region to restore an energy facility that provides heat to nearly 160,000 families.

Another 50 million hryvnias will be directed to the Kherson region to provide additional protection for eight energy facilities. There, engineering structures and anti-drone protection for critical equipment are to be installed.

According to the prime minister, the tender procedures must be conducted promptly, and the work must be completed as quickly as possible.

“Given limited financial resources, the government is directing funds toward the most critical needs, especially in regions near the front lines,” Koretskyi noted.

This was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi.

The government has allocated 150 million hryvnia for the reconstruction of 11 high-rise buildings in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In Kyiv, the reconstruction of the Okhmatdyt National Children’s Specialized Hospital, which was damaged by a Russian missile strike in July 2024, has been fully completed.
