Passport services in Poland and Italy are changing the rules for registering for the electronic queue
Starting June 1, 2026, Passport Service centers in Poland and Italy will require mandatory verification when registering for the electronic queue via the "Diya.Signature" service.
This was announced by the state-owned enterprise “Document.”
The new measure is aimed at improving the organization of citizen services and preventing ticket speculation.
According to the new rules, the conditions for receiving visitors in different countries will vary slightly. In particular, the State Enterprise “Document” has established strict guidelines for its Italian offices, where the option to wait in person has been eliminated.
“The procedure for receiving citizens in Italy (Milan) is exclusively by prior appointment in an electronic queue,” the enterprise stated.
In Poland, however, Ukrainians will be able to use an alternative method of receiving services. The administration has maintained a hybrid operating format for four Polish offices.
“The procedure for receiving citizens at Passport Service centers in Poland (Warsaw, Wrocław, Gdańsk, and Kraków) is advance registration in an electronic queue and a ‘live queue,’” the agency clarified.
Clear daily limits have been set for each Polish center regarding the number of visitors served without prior online registration.
The agency released the exact figures: “The current number of tickets that our centers are able to issue and process each working day without prior registration (via the ‘walk-in’ queue): Warsaw — 60 tickets daily, Wrocław — 40 tickets daily, Gdańsk — 30 tickets daily, Kraków — 30 tickets daily.”
