On Friday, September 11, the weather in Ukraine will be varied. Rain and thunderstorms are expected in some regions, while in the south and southeast, temperatures will rise to +31°.

According to the forecast by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, an atmospheric front will move across Ukraine from the northwest to the southeast, bringing another round of precipitation.

Overnight, rain fell in the northeast of the country, as well as in some areas of the Kyiv and Cherkasy regions.

During the day, precipitation will spread to most western regions and the Kharkiv region.

In Zakarpattia and Prykarpattia, heavy rain is possible in some areas, and thunderstorms may occur in places.

No significant precipitation is forecast for the rest of the country. Partly cloudy skies will prevail.

The wind will be predominantly from the northwest, at 5–10 m/s.

Overnight temperatures in most regions ranged from +10° to +15°, while along the coast, temperatures reached +19°.

During the day, temperatures will rise to +20…+25°.

It will be hottest in the south and southeast of Ukraine, where temperatures will reach +26…+31°.

Partly cloudy skies are expected today in the Kyiv region. It will be mostly dry, though a brief shower passed through the southern part of the region overnight.

The wind is from the northwest at 5–10 m/s.

Temperatures in the region ranged from +10…+15° at night, and are forecast to reach +20…+25° during the day.

In Kyiv, temperatures ranged from +13° to +15° at night, and daytime temperatures are expected to reach +22° to +24°.

This is according to the forecast from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

In southern France, exceptionally heavy rains followed yet another period of abnormal heat. Over the past 24 hours, the region has set numerous records for monthly precipitation totals.
