Weather in Ukraine on August 12: Thunderstorms and a high of +33° are expected
On Wednesday, August 12, partly cloudy skies and mostly dry weather are expected in Ukraine. Short-lived showers and thunderstorms are possible only in some areas of the southeastern part of the country.
According to the forecast, winds will be from the northwest at 7–12 m/s.
In most regions, nighttime temperatures will range from 12–17°, and daytime temperatures will reach 21–26°. Meanwhile, hot weather will persist in the south and east: 18–23° at night and 28–33° during the day.
No precipitation is expected in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The wind will be from the northwest at 7–12 m/s.
In the Kyiv region, temperatures are expected to range from 12–17° at night and 21–26° during the day. In the capital, temperatures will range from 15–17° at night and around 25° during the day.
Thus, on August 12, Ukraine will experience a noticeable temperature contrast: it will be cooler in the west, north, and parts of the center, while in the south and east, temperatures will rise to +33° in some places.

According to data from the Boris Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory, the average monthly air temperature in Kyiv in July was 20.8°C, which is 0.5°C below the climatic norm.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has issued a warning about temperatures reaching 38° and a fire hazard.
