The Kyiv–Chisinau train will run daily
Starting June 28, 2026, the “Bessarabia” train on the Kyiv–Chisinau route will run daily and will include a specialized children’s car.
This decision was made following a joint effort by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, the joint-stock company “Ukrzaliznytsia,” and the Moldovan railway operator CFM.
Railway officials have also optimized the schedule to improve comfort for passengers planning onward travel. Starting June 29, the departure schedule for the passenger train from the Moldovan capital will change.
The train will depart from Chisinau at 7:52 p.m. instead of 5:42 p.m., which will significantly improve connections to other popular routes.
The international service will, as usual, include open-seating and compartment cars for various categories of passengers. In addition, a brand-new children’s car will make its debut on this trip.
It has been specially equipped to ensure maximum comfort and safety for families traveling with young children.
This was announced by Oleksiy Kuleba, Ukraine’s Minister of Community and Territorial Development.
