Ukrainian Railways (UZ) trains are delayed by six hours due to shelling in the western regions

Due to a massive attack on Ukraine’s western regions, trains traveling in that direction have fallen behind schedule. Delays on some trains are currently as long as six hours.

According to information on the online schedule board, the “Dnipro-Holovnyi–Uzhhorod” train is the most delayed, with a delay of over 6 hours.

A similar situation is unfolding with the train running to Poland—the “Zaporizhzhia–Przemyśl” route.

Slightly shorter delays—over 5 hours—are affecting the “Dnipro–Truskavets,” “Dnipro–Lviv,” “Chernivtsi–Kryvyi Rih,” and “Rakhiv–Kryvyi Rih” trains.

Ukrainian Railways has not reported the cause, but train delays in Ukraine are usually related to the security situation.

Western Ukraine, where the longest delays have been reported, has been under a massive drone attack since last night.

Ukrzaliznytsia provided an update on the condition of the Central Station building following the Russian attack.

As a reminder, as a result of the enemy attack on Kyiv on September 23, a Ukrzaliznytsia employee who was returning home after his shift sustained shrapnel wounds.

On September 23, Russian terrorists attacked two gas stations in Kyiv, leaving one person injured.

Seven people were injured in Kyiv as a result of the Russian attack on September 23. One of the injured, who was hospitalized in critical condition, died in the hospital.
