The prosecutor's office forced the developer through the courts to pay more than 28 million hryvnias to the Kyiv city budget
The Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, through the Kyiv City Commercial Court, successfully recovered more than 28 million hryvnias in unpaid equity contributions from a real estate developer.
The private firm built a large-scale residential complex in the Holosiivskyi district of the capital but failed to fulfill its obligation to fund the development of urban infrastructure.
Since the developer did not voluntarily transfer the payment required by law to the local budget, law enforcement authorities were forced to file a corresponding lawsuit with the courts.
According to the investigation and court records, the commercial company carried out a large-scale construction project with a total area of over 257,000 square meters.
Despite the significant scale of the construction and the potential profits, the statutory contributions for the development of the capital’s social infrastructure were never paid.
The court thoroughly examined the available evidence, found the prosecutors’ claims to be entirely justified, and fully granted the lawsuit seeking the compulsory collection of the specified amount.
This was reported by the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.
