Conductors beat and threw a 15-year-old boy off a train in Fastiv
On Train No. 858K from Khmelnytskyi to Kyiv, a conflict broke out between train crew members and a 15-year-old passenger during a stop in Fastiv.
According to eyewitnesses, the male and female conductors got into an argument with the boy. An eyewitness claims that the male conductor, who was allegedly intoxicated, struck the teenager, after which the boy ended up outside the train car. He was not allowed back onto the train, even though he had a ticket and his mother was waiting for him in Kyiv.
After the mother learned of the incident, the conductor left the train. Details regarding the incident were forwarded to law enforcement.
Ukrzaliznytsia stated that both conductors had been fired. The company also provided information to law enforcement and promised to cooperate with the investigation.
Ukrzaliznytsia apologized to the boy’s mother and informed her that it would remain in contact with her.
