The show "Star Factory" is returning, with Vladimir Dantes set to be the new host
The streaming platform Sweet.tv has announced the revival of the legendary talent show "Star Factory." The host of the revamped show will be Volodymyr Dantes, himself a former winner of the show.
The singer announced this on his Instagram page.
Vladimir Dantes and Vadim Oliinyk were the winners of the second season of "Star Factory," which aired in 2008. Their duo was called "DiO.Films." The group disbanded in 2015.
"Back then, 'Star Factory' changed my life very significantly. And now, many years later, I’m returning there as a host," Dantes noted.
According to Volodymyr, the revamped talent show “will become a full-fledged platform for new artists.” Throughout the fall, the contestants will work with professionals from the Ukrainian music industry.
"I’m confident this is the perfect time to return. Because today, an artist is no longer just someone who can sing. It’s someone who has something to say, writes music, has their own stance, creates their own identity and style, and understands every aspect of production," the singer noted.
Dantes knows better than anyone how the experience of participating in "Star Factory" can influence the future of artists. He is glad that he can "be there at the moment new stars are born."
In the comments under Dantes’ post, he received support from Oleksiy Durnev, Iryna Monatik, Ramina Eskhakhzai, Anatoliy Anatolich, Mika Newton, Volodymyr Zavaduk, and others.
Volodymyr Dantes presentedhis new EP and raised 379,000 hryvnias at a charity auction.
