During his visit to Ukraine, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius visited Ukrainian air defense positions. There, he was shown the operations of the units that defend Ukrainian airspace against air attacks.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported this on Telegram.
The German delegation toured a command post and a mobile fire group equipped with countermeasures against Shahed-type drones: large-caliber machine guns and interceptor drones.
As noted by the Ministry of Defense, Ukraine currently shoots down about 90% of Russian drones and about 80% of cruise missiles.
