Sybiga called on Europe to strengthen the protection of Ukrainian airspace

Defending Ukraine’s airspace directly reduces threats to all of Europe. Partners must step up their assistance to Ukraine to counter Russian missile and drone attacks.

This was stated by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga.

According to him, the war is no longer confined to Ukrainian territory, so European countries must more actively support Ukraine’s air defense.

Sybiga also called on Europe to tighten sanctions after every large-scale Russian attack and to deprive Moscow of the ability to produce ballistic missiles and strike drones.

Separately, the foreign minister emphasized the need to restore freedom of navigation in the Black Sea. Russian strikes on port infrastructure and civilian vessels are already affecting maritime traffic and posing risks to global food security.
