Forced mobilization on a rooftop: The Volyn Regional Military Commissariat stated that they assisted the man
In the Volyn region, the regional recruitment center responded to a video showing soldiers forcibly removing a man from the roof of a private home.
This was reported by the Volyn Regional Territorial Recruitment Center and the Joint Staff.
The incident occurred on April 23 in the village of Strumivka, Lutsk District, during joint public awareness activities involving the Recruitment Center and the police.
According to the center, the driver of the vehicle, upon noticing the public awareness group, attempted to evade inspection and failed to comply with the order to stop. He subsequently left the car, ran onto the grounds of a private residence, and climbed onto the roof.
There, the man asked for help due to his fear of heights, but at the same time avoided contact. He was provided with a ladder for a safe descent, but he did not use it for about 10 minutes.
While attempting to help, one of the soldiers climbed onto the roof, after which a scuffle broke out between them. As a result, both fell.
The TCC noted that the man later explained his behavior by stating that he was wanted for violating military registration rules.
He was taken to the TCC to undergo a military medical examination. According to the center, he did not sustain any physical injuries.
