Forecasters have issued a weather forecast for Ukraine for July 12
On Sunday, July 12, partly cloudy skies are expected across Ukraine. Short-lived showers and thunderstorms are forecast in some regions, while temperatures will remain comfortable.
According to the forecast, the wind will be from the southwest, shifting to the northwest, at a speed of 5–10 m/s.
Nighttime temperatures will range from +9 to +14°C, and daytime temperatures from +20 to +25°C. In the south and southeast of the country, temperatures are expected to range from +13 to +18°C at night and from +23 to +28°C during the day.
In Kyiv and the surrounding region, variable cloudiness and brief showers in some areas are also forecast. In the capital, temperatures will range from +12 to +14°C at night, and will warm up to +22 to +24°C during the day.

As a reminder, Belgium has recorded a sharp rise in mortality amid a severe heat wave. According to the Sciensano Institute of Public Health, the excess mortality rate reached 47%—the highest figure since records began in 2000.
Earlier, average nuclear power generation in France fell below 33 GW, the lowest level in the past nine months, due to the need to limit output at nuclear power plants. The reduction was caused by a critical rise in water temperatures in the rivers used to cool the reactors.
