Syrsky announced that the repeaters in Belarus had been turned back on

Belarus has once again activated one of the relay stations that can be used for Russian drones. At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces state that the situation is under control and they are working to neutralize the threat.

Belarus has not dismantled the relay equipment, which, according to Ukrainian military estimates, can be used to support Russian drones, and one such device was recently reactivated. This was reported by Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to him, despite expectations that this technical equipment would be taken out of service, it remains in place. “They haven’t been dismantled yet. One repeater was activated yesterday. I don’t think they’ll turn them on again,” Syrskyi said.

When asked by journalists whether there are plans to physically disable them, the Commander-in-Chief declined to disclose details of the Ukrainian forces’ operational activities. “I can’t tell you everything. I think they’ll realize that this shouldn’t be done,” he added.

Syrskyi also emphasized that the Ukrainian military already has sufficient experience in countering such threats from this direction, and the relevant units are prepared to operate in conditions where drones are actively used. “We have experience, we have trained crews, and we have everything we need to not fear actions from that direction. At the very least, we can prevent enemy UAVs from flying along the border,” he emphasized.

According to the commander-in-chief, the situation in this area is constantly monitored, and Ukrainian forces respond to any changes in enemy drone activity. At the same time, the General Staff traditionally does not disclose details of the technical or operational measures used to counter these threats for security reasons.

The Ukrainian military continues to strengthen control over border areas where Russian UAV activity is detected and emphasizes that the main task is to minimize the possibility of their launch or flight adjustments toward Ukraine. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi spoke about this in an interview with TSN.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have sufficient personnel to rotate troops who have been in combat positions for more than 60 days. This was stated by Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi.
