Solana Colosseum has launched the Crypto World’s Fair hackathon for projects on all blockchains: prizes will exceed $3.3 million
Colosseum, which previously hosted startup competitions exclusively for the Solana ecosystem, is launching Crypto World’s Fair—a global hackathon for projects from various blockchain ecosystems. The total prize pool and potential funding for the top teams will exceed $3.3 million.
As part of Crypto World’s Fair, projects from Solana, Ethereum, Base, Sui, Zcash, Bitcoin, Tempo, and other ecosystems will compete in a single competition. Each blockchain will have its own prize track, and every team, regardless of the technology they choose, will be eligible for the hackathon’s general prizes.
Solana, Hyperliquid, Tempo, and Zcash have announced prize pools of $100,000 each for their tracks, while Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, and Robinhood have each announced $25,000.
Ukrainian teams will receive special support
Superteam Ukraine is joining the global hackathon to help Ukrainian teams prepare for the final submission. Participants will have access to mentoring sessions, workshops, practical resources, feedback, and coworking spaces in Kyiv.
Support is not limited to projects on Solana. Teams working with other blockchains, building cross-chain solutions, or even developing products outside of Web3 are welcome to join the program.
Additional opportunities are also available for Ukrainian participants: a local prize track of up to $10,000, additional prizes on Demo Day, $500 for the best idea at the Startup Ideathon, and grants of up to $10,000 after the hackathon concludes.
Demo Day in Kyiv and Online
Before the final submission to Colosseum, Superteam Ukraine will host two Ukrainian Demo Days—online on October 9 and in person in Kyiv on October 10.
Teams will be able to present their finished MVP, test their pitch in front of the jury, receive feedback, and compete for additional prizes. Participants will compete in two tracks.
Solana Demo: $1,000 for first place, $500 for second, and $200 for third.
Open Track: $500, $200, and $100, respectively. This track is intended for projects on other blockchains, cross-chain solutions, and non-Web3 products.
