Heat and thunderstorms: What will the weather be like in Ukraine on July 2?
On Thursday, July 2, partly cloudy skies are expected across Ukraine. Hot weather will persist in most regions, while brief showers and thunderstorms are forecast for a number of regions.
In the western regions, skies will be partly cloudy with moderate rain, heavy in places during the day, thunderstorms, and in some areas hail and squalls of 15–20 m/s; the rest of the country will see light cloud cover with no precipitation. The wind will be southeasterly, shifting to northwesterly in the western regions, at 5–10 m/s. Temperatures will range from 18–23° at night to 29–34° during the day; in the central and southern regions, there will be intense heat in some areas, reaching 35–37°, while in the western regions, temperatures will range from 26–31°.

Temperatures across the region will range from 18–23° at night to 29–34° during the day; in Kyiv, temperatures will range from 20–22° at night to 30–32° during the day, according to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
