Zelenskyy's Approval Rating Rises: New Poll Shows a Shift in Ukrainians' Sentiment

A new sociological survey has shown a rise in support for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Over the past year, the number of citizens who view his performance positively has increased significantly.

According to the survey results, more than two-thirds of Ukrainians currently approve of the head of state’s work. Sociologists also compared the current figures with data from previous years, which made it possible to track how public sentiment and the level of trust in the president have changed.

The approval rating for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has risen to 68%. At the same time, 28% of respondents said they do not approve of his work.

Specifically, 35% of Ukrainians said they fully approve of the president’s performance, while another 33% said they somewhat approve.

Meanwhile, 15% of respondents said they somewhat disapprove of the head of state’s work, and another 13% said they completely disapprove. Another 4% of those surveyed were undecided.

Compared to July 2025, the level of support has risen slightly. At that time, 65% of Ukrainians approved of the president’s performance (33% fully, 32% somewhat), while 32% disapproved.

The survey also shows that the current rate of full approval is the highest since September 2023, and the overall level of positive assessments exceeds two-thirds of those surveyed.

This is reported with reference to the results of a Rating Group poll.

Zelenskyy has responded for the first time to the case involving the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines.

The German Federal Prosecutor’s Office has officially charged Ukrainian citizen Serhiy Kuznetsov in connection with the Nord Stream gas pipeline sabotage case.

German law enforcement agencies are attempting to obtain an official admission of guilt from Ukrainian citizen Serhiy Kuznetsov or testimony regarding his direct involvement in organizing and carrying out the sabotage of the "Nord Stream 1" and "Nord Stream 2" in the Baltic Sea.
