A court has allowed the Russian national Khakimov to remain in Ukraine
The Eighth Administrative Court of Appeal granted the appeal filed by Russian citizen Ruslan Khakimov, known in Ukraine as Aslan Khakimov. The court overturned the decision of the Halytskyi District Court of Lviv regarding his forced expulsion from Ukraine.
Khakimov was involved in the development of ground-based robotic systems and supplied them to the Ukrainian military.
Consequently, the decision by the Western Interregional Directorate of the State Migration Service to deport Khakimov was also overturned in the part that the man had challenged.
Hakimov is known for his assistance to the Defense Forces. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he worked on developing ground-based robotic systems and supplied them to the Ukrainian military.
Why Hakimov Faced Deportation
The State Migration Service demanded the Russian national’s forced deportation due to issues with his documents and the legality of his stay in Ukraine. Previously, the Halytskyi District Court of Lviv had granted the State Migration Service’s request for his detention for the purpose of identification and to ensure his forced deportation.
On June 8, the Eighth Administrative Court of Appeal upheld this decision in a separate case. Separately, on June 17, the Halytskyi District Court of Lviv considered Khakimov’s lawsuit challenging the Migration Service’s decision on forced deportation. The court then effectively prohibited his direct transfer to Russia but did not overturn the Migration Service’s decision in its entirety.
Who Is Khakimov
Ruslan Khakimov is a Russian citizen. According to him, he moved to Ukraine in 2015 and, after the start of the full-scale war, assisted the Ukrainian military. Members of parliament publicly raised his case in the Verkhovna Rada. In particular, it was emphasized that Khakimov developed ground-based robotic systems for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and his possible deportation to Russia could put him in danger.

The Solomyanskyi District Court issued a statement regarding the scandal surrounding Ishunina.
Journalist Volodymyr Bondarenko called on law enforcement to investigate the possible role of one of the employees of JSC “Aviation and Rocket-Technical Machinery Building Company” Konstantin Ishunin in the case of the tragedy in Vyshneve, where an ammunition depot exploded on July 6 following a Russian missile strike.
The court returned the capital’s October Palace to the state.
