Warm weather and brief showers: What will the weather be like on the last weekend of August?

The last weekend of summer in Ukraine, August 29 and 30, will be mostly warm, though rain is expected in several regions. On Saturday, precipitation is forecast mainly in the west of the country, and on Sunday it will spread to the northern and some central regions. The rest of the country will remain dry.

In Kyiv, partly cloudy skies are expected on Saturday. Overnight, the temperature will drop to +13°, and during the day, it will warm up to +25°.

In Lviv, temperatures are forecast to reach +15° at night and +27° during the day, with partly cloudy skies and rain.

In Lutsk, it will be +14° at night and +25° during the day, with variable cloud cover and rain expected.

In Vinnytsia, temperatures will range from +12° to +24°, with partly cloudy skies.

In Odesa, Saturday will be clear. The temperature will be +19° at night and +26° during the day.

In Kharkiv, variable cloudiness is forecast, with temperatures of +13° at night and up to +25° during the day.

In Dnipro, there will be variable cloud cover. The temperature at night will be +15°, and during the day – +26°.

Clear skies are expected in Simferopol, with temperatures ranging from +17° to +28°.

In Mariupol, Saturday will be mostly clear. Temperatures will drop to +18° at night and rise to +29° during the day.

Clear skies are forecast for Kramatorsk, with temperatures of +12° at night and +27° during the day.

It will also be clear in Severodonetsk. Temperatures will range from +13° at night to +26° during the day.

In Kyiv, temperatures are expected to reach +18° at night and +25° during the day. Partly cloudy skies and rain are forecast.

In Lviv, temperatures will range from +13° to +26°, with variable cloud cover expected.

In Lutsk, it will be +12° at night and +24° during the day, with variable cloudiness.

In Vinnytsia, temperatures are forecast to range from +16° to +26°, with variable cloudiness and rain.

In Odesa, there will be variable cloudiness, with temperatures ranging from +21° to +26°.

In Kharkiv, partly cloudy skies are expected, with temperatures ranging from +14° to +26°.

In Dnipro, there will be variable cloudiness, with temperatures ranging from +15° at night to up to +27° during the day.

In Simferopol, temperatures are forecast to range from +17° to +28° with variable cloud cover.

In Mariupol, there will be light cloud cover. Temperatures are expected to be +16° at night and up to +28° during the day.

In Kramatorsk, there will be light cloud cover, with temperatures ranging from +11° to +28°.

In Severodonetsk, partly cloudy skies are forecast, with temperatures of +10° at night and up to +27° during the day.

In Bukovel, Saturday will be clear. The temperature at night will be only +5°, and during the day it will warm up to +24°. On Sunday, partly cloudy skies and rain are expected, with temperatures ranging from +12° to +20°.

In Morshyn, Saturday is forecast to be cloudy with some sunny spells, with a nighttime temperature of +11° and a daytime high of +28°. Sunday will be mostly clear, with temperatures ranging from +13° to +25°.

In Truskavets, overcast skies are expected on Saturday, with temperatures reaching up to +27°. Sunday will be mostly clear, with temperatures ranging from +15° to +24°.

In Svalyava, Saturday is forecast to be cloudy with some sunny spells, with temperatures reaching up to +27°. Sunday will be mostly clear, with temperatures ranging from +14° to +26°.

In Zatoka, Saturday will be clear: +18° at night and +26° during the day. On Sunday, the weather is expected to be nearly cloudless, with temperatures ranging from +20° to +27°.

Overall, the last weekend of summer will be warm, but residents of the western, northern, and some central regions should factor in the possibility of rain when planning their leisure activities.

Warm and mostly dry weather will prevail in Ukraine from August 24 to 30. Temperatures will be comfortable at the start of the week, and it will become noticeably warmer starting on August 25. 

July 2026 was one of the hottest months on record for the Arctic landmass: more than 70% of the Arctic’s land and sea areas were warmer than the 1991–2020 average.

Global ocean surface temperatures in July 2026 reached their highest level on record. This could exacerbate global warming and negatively impact marine ecosystems.
