TikTok has restricted access to the Arrestovich channel in Ukraine — CPD

The social media platform TikTok has restricted access to Alexei Arestovich's channel for users in Ukraine.

The Center noted that the decision was implemented as part of its collaboration with TikTok in Ukraine. No further details regarding the reasons for the restriction have been provided at this time.

One of the company’s largest and most costly projects—the Horizon Worlds metaverse—has incurred losses of $80 billion. Support for the VR platform on Quest devices will end by mid-June, and the app will be removed from the app store by the end of March.

In addition, Meta Platforms Inc. announced a price increase for its Quest VR devices due to a significant rise in production costs for high-performance equipment. The changes took effect on April 19 and will affect the U.S., U.K., European, and Japanese markets.
