An explosion caused by a piece of ammunition killed two men in Dnipro

An explosion involving ammunition occurred on the grounds of a private residence in Dnipro. Two men were killed in the incident. The victims died at the scene from their injuries. The circumstances of the explosion are under investigation.

The incident occurred on June 8 in the Novokodatsky district of the city. Law enforcement received a report of the explosion in the afternoon. According to preliminary information, two men sustained fatal injuries as a result of the ammunition detonation. They died at the scene from their injuries.

“An investigative team from Police Department No. 1 of the Dniprovskyi District Police Administration No. 1 and personnel from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit of the Main Department of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast are working at the scene. Law enforcement is currently conducting a series of initial investigative actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances,” the statement reads.

Once the inspection of the scene is complete and the necessary evidence has been collected, the incident will be legally classified.
