A young wildcat was spotted in the Synyohora Carpathian Park
A young wildcat, about 6–7 months old, was spotted in the “Sinyohora” National Nature Park in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The animal was sitting on a rock near the water, where, according to experts, it was catching fish.
According to the photographer, Yuriy Pospelov, the wild cat was already as large and sturdy as a well-fed house cat. Upon noticing a person, the animal quickly scrambled up a vertical rocky wall 6–7 meters high and hid in the forest.

The photos were posted in the “Animal World of Ukraine” Facebook group.
