A man was injured in Kharkiv due to an explosion near a shopping center
On the morning of April 30 in Kharkiv, an unidentified explosive device detonated near a shopping center, injuring a man.
This was reported by the Mine Action Coordination Center at the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration on Facebook.
The incident occurred around 9:20 a.m. According to preliminary data, an unknown explosive device detonated near the shopping center.
“On April 30, around 9:20 a.m., an unknown explosive device detonated near a shopping center. A 64-year-old man was injured in the explosion,” the statement reads.
It is known that the 64-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds to his lower limbs. He is receiving the necessary medical care.
Demining and area inspection operations are ongoing in the region due to the aftermath of Russian shelling and the possible presence of explosive devices. Residents are urged to exercise caution and immediately report any suspicious finds to the relevant authorities.
Earlier, a grenade exploded in one of Lviv’s residential buildings. A 35-year-old man was killed in the incident. Law enforcement is investigating the circumstances of the incident.
