A court in Kyiv ordered a developer to pay ₴400,000 in contributions to the capital’s budget

Following a lawsuit filed by the Shevchenkivskyi District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv, the Kyiv Commercial Court ordered the developer to pay 400,000 hryvnias to the capital’s budget as a contribution toward infrastructure development

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the investigation, during the construction of a residential complex on Mirna Street in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, the construction client failed to comply with the requirement to pay the infrastructure development contribution.

The prosecutor’s office noted that the obligation to pay a contribution toward the city’s infrastructure development applied to construction clients only in cases where such an obligation arose prior to its repeal. As of January 1, 2021, this payment was abolished.

As a result, the court reviewed the case materials and granted the prosecutor’s office’s claim, ordering the developer to transfer the funds to the city budget.

In Odesa, the director of a construction company was charged with the unauthorized seizure of land from the nature reserve fund and the illegal construction of a residential complex.

In Chernivtsi, an indictment has been filed against a 42-year-old director of a construction company accused of multiple crimes. His actions caused losses to 33 citizens, totaling over $2.3 million.

The Pechersk District Prosecutor’s Office in Kyiv filed a lawsuit against the developer of a residential complex on Zaliznychne Shose for failure to pay a share contribution.
