In Kyiv, a woman opened fire after being told to keep the noise down

In the Svyatoshynsky district of the capital, law enforcement officials notified an individual that he was under suspicion in connection with an armed altercation near a residential building. 

This was reported by the Kyiv Police.

A local resident fired several shots at a man who was trying to call her group to order. 

The victim sustained serious injuries and was immediately hospitalized.

The incident occurred on Akademika Korolyova Avenue, where a sudden argument broke out between neighbors. 

The injured 27-year-old man was found in an apartment on Akademika Korolyova Avenue in the Svyatoshynsky district.

He was hospitalized with injuries to his arm and abdomen. An investigative team and emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene promptly.

The cause of the suspect’s aggression was a simple request to keep the noise down in the evening. 

According to law enforcement, the victim had complained to a group of men and women who were relaxing near his home because of their loud behavior. 

During the altercation, one of the women pulled out a gun and fired several shots, after which she allegedly fled the scene.

Kyiv police officers conducted a series of investigative operations to apprehend the suspect. Shortly thereafter, a 43-year-old local resident was detained. 

During a search, a pistol and ammunition were seized from her, which are currently undergoing forensic analysis. Ballistics experts are thoroughly examining the seized firearm.
