Organizers of the riots near the TCC were detained in Lviv
Law enforcement officers detained three more active participants in the riots that took place on July 8 in the Sykhiv district of Lviv near the District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (DTRCS).
According to the investigation, the two men, aged 21 and 28, organized and incited other participants to commit unlawful acts.
In addition, according to law enforcement, they personally participated in damaging an official off-road vehicle belonging to military personnel of the Sykhiv RTCS&SP.
Investigators claim that the men blocked the vehicle’s path, jumped on it, and subsequently overturned it.
The third person detained was a 45-year-old resident of Lviv.
According to the investigation, the man provoked a conflict with a TCC servicemember, and when he did not receive the desired reaction, he began to use physical force—shaking the servicemember and attempting to tear off his uniform while simultaneously insulting him.
All three detainees are residents of the Sykhiv district of Lviv.
Law enforcement officials are currently determining whether to notify the detainees of their status as suspects under Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine—obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations—as well as what preventive measures to impose on them.
In addition, while analyzing video footage from the scene, law enforcement officers identified a 28-year-old man who was classified as having deserted his military unit.
He was detained as part of a separate criminal proceeding initiated under Article 407 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
This was reported by the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
