The NABU has revealed the current status of the Tymoshenko case

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) have concluded their investigation into the case involving an alleged bribe offer to members of parliament by Yulia Tymoshenko, leader of the Batkivshchyna party, and have made the case files available to the defense team ahead of the trial. The lawmaker herself did not appear for the review.

This is stated in a NABU press release.

Once the defense has reviewed the materials, the case will be transferred to the High Anti-Corruption Court. Tymoshenko faces up to 10 years in prison under Part 4 of Article 369.

As a reminder, the court is considering Tymoshenko’s appeal against the seizure of her property.

The court also lifted the seizure of some of Yulia Tymoshenko’s and her husband’s property.
