Support for Ukraine Has Surged Within NATO: Ambassador Makes Sensational Statement

The number of NATO member countries supporting Ukraine’s accession to the Alliance has reached a record high. This was stated by Ukraine’s Ambassador to NATO, Alona Getmanchuk.

According to her, Ukraine’s course toward NATO membership remains unchanged, and all previously adopted decisions regarding the irreversibility of this path remain in effect.

Getmanchuk noted that an increasing number of Alliance member states recognize that Ukraine’s accession serves not only Ukraine’s interests but also those of NATO itself.

“We are seeing a record number of Ukraine’s supporters within NATO. And even those countries that were previously more passive supporters are now becoming more active,” the diplomat emphasized.

She also added that the Alliance’s transformation makes Ukraine an important element of the future European security system.
