Dynamo has commented on the scandal surrounding the Money24/7
FC Dynamo Kyiv has released an official statement in response to recent journalistic investigations and the significant public outcry surrounding the activities of Money24/7. Club representatives expressed their deep sympathy to all citizens who, according to media reports, have been harmed by the actions of this organization, and the club itself has terminated its partnership with it.
Dynamo emphasized that it sincerely hopes for a comprehensive, objective, and impartial investigation into all circumstances of the case by competent law enforcement agencies, as well as for the fair protection of the rights of everyone who has suffered financial losses.
The statement clearly emphasizes that the soccer club had and has no connection whatsoever to the direct financial or operational activities of Money24/7 and had no ability to influence them. At the time the partnership agreement was signed, the brand had a positive public reputation, and the club was not aware of any legal violations. The partnership with the company was terminated immediately after the first public doubts about its integrity arose. The management of the Kyiv club acknowledged that a partnership with a well-known sports brand could have increased public trust in the company, and assured that the fans’ trust is an absolute priority for “Dynamo,” one that will always take precedence over any commercial interests.
Dynamo announced this in a Telegram post.
Media reports indicated that customers who turned to Money 24/7 to exchange cash for cryptocurrency, cryptocurrency for cash, or to make international transfers faced the same problem: the company is not returning their funds. Instead of the promised payments, they receive only empty promises or partial refunds.
Earlier in Kyiv, law enforcement officials exposed one of the founders of a Ponzi scheme that operated under the guise of cryptocurrency investments.
