The NBU has issued a commemorative coin to mark the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence
The National Bank of Ukraine has unveiled a new silver commemorative coin titled “250 Years Since the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America.”
The coin, with a face value of 10 hryvnias, is made of silver. It weighs 31.1 grams, and 3,000 copies have been minted.
The obverse features a stylized fragment of the U.S. flag and the inscription “Happy Anniversary!” The reverse depicts the Statue of Liberty, the “Motherland” monument, and the symbolic flame of freedom.
The commemorative coin will be available for purchase at the NBU’s online numismatic store and through participating banks.
