In Bukovina, a two-year-old boy fell into a bonfire and suffered severe burns

In the Chernivtsi region, a two-year-old boy suffered severe burns after falling into a bonfire. The child was hospitalized.

The accident occurred in the village of Lukachivka in the Kelmenets community. According to preliminary information, the mother was burning trash and dry vegetation in the yard when the boy got too close to the fire and fell into the bonfire.

Law enforcement officials are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident and conducting an inquiry.
