The 2027 state budget proposal allocates nearly ₴5 billion for the telethon, international broadcasting, and Suspilne
The draft State Budget of Ukraine for 2027 allocates 4.8 billion hryvnias to fund the telethon, state international broadcasting, and the Public Broadcaster. These expenditures are included in the draft state budget for 2027, submitted on September 15.
According to the document, the funds are earmarked for the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine.
Of the total amount provided for in the draft budget, the funds are planned to be allocated across several areas:
- 3.054 billion UAH – financial support for the Public Broadcaster;
- 1.620 billion UAH – production and broadcasting of programs for state needs, collection, processing, and distribution of official information products, as well as financial support for Ukraine’s state international broadcasting system;
- 64.2 million UAH – administration and management in the field of television and radio broadcasting.
Thus, the largest portion of the planned expenditures—3.054 billion UAH—is to be allocated to support the Public Broadcaster.
Another 1.620 billion UAH is planned to be used for the production and broadcast of programs for state needs, official information content, and state international broadcasting.
The draft budget allocates 64.2 million UAH for administration in the field of television and radio broadcasting.
The total funding for these areas amounts to approximately 4.8 billion UAH.
This is according to data from the draft law on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2027 dated September 15.
Earlier, the parliamentary TV channel “Rada” announced the winner of an art competition to produce programs for the “United News #UArazom” marathon. The contract was awarded to “Faino-Company” LLC, owned by Maria Vladova-Gilevich. This company has previously fulfilled government contracts, notably producing the series “Under the Sky” for the state-owned enterprise “Multimedia Platform for International Broadcasting.”
