The Transcarpathian Drama Theater Will Replace Its Seats for Over 3 Million Hryvnias
At the Transcarpathian Regional Music and Drama Theater named after the brothers Yuriy-Augustin and Yevhen Sherehiy, work has begun on renovating the auditorium, where approximately 800 seats will be replaced and the lighting system will be upgraded at a cost of 3.2 million hryvnias. The auction on Prozorro took place without any competition.
Theater director Rudolf Dzurynets announced the removal of the outdated furniture, noting that the auditorium had not been renovated since the building opened.
The winner of the Prozorro tender was Serhiy Shevchenko, an entrepreneur from the Kharkiv region, who is to deliver new seats upholstered in red fire-resistant fabric and equipped with wooden armrests by August 20. As part of the theater’s renovation, plans also include installing an elevator for people with disabilities, restoring the floor, and setting up a lounge area in the foyer.

As a reminder, an official at a Kyiv university overpaid 600,000 UAH for a projector for the theater.
Officials at the Territorial Center for Social Services in Kyiv’s Solomyanskyi District have been notified of suspicions of embezzlement of budget funds. According to the investigation, the municipal institution overpaid approximately 1.7 million UAH due to inflated prices for the purchase of diapers and care products for bedridden patients.
