Ukrainians must use the funds accumulated through the “National Cashback” program during its first phase by the end of July 31. After that, all unused funds will automatically be returned to the state budget.
This applies to the April cashback as well as any remaining payments under the “Winter Thousand” program. The Ministry of Digital Transformation emphasized that the program itself is not being discontinued—new payments will continue to be credited after the 20th of the following month.
Funds accrued for May, June, and subsequent months are subject to different rules. They can be used until the end of the month in which martial law is lifted or terminated, but no later than April 30, 2028.
The total amount of “National Cashback” paymentsis approximately ₴8 billion.
Ukrainians will begin receiving payments under the “National Cashback” program for April starting July 3, 2026. According to a decision by the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture, the deadline for using all accrued funds has been extended through July 31.
