Ukrenergo has announced whether there will be power outages on April 24

UA NEWS 23 April 2026 20:18
Ukrenergo has announced whether there will be power outages on April 24

Tomorrow, April 24, there are no plans to implement hourly power outage schedules or power restrictions in Ukraine. The power grid is operating stably, despite the Russian Federation’s systematic attempts to destabilize critical infrastructure.

NPC Ukrenergo reports that no consumption restrictions are currently forecast.

Despite the absence of outages, energy officials are urging citizens to consume energy responsibly. In particular, it is recommended to shift the use of high-power electrical appliances (washing machines, electric stoves, heaters) to daytime hours. The most critical period for the system remains the evening peak—from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM—when the load on the grid is at its highest.

Following these simple tips helps balance the power system and avoid emergencies. Currently, specialists are continuing restoration work at facilities damaged by previous attacks, so energy conservation remains a key factor in the country’s energy security. Should the situation change, Ukrenergo will promptly announce the implementation of any restriction measures.

As a result of attacks on energy infrastructure facilities on April 23, new power outages were recorded in six regions of Ukraine.

Ukrenergo issued a statement regarding emergency power outages.
