Ukrenergo commented on the possibility of power outages on May 29

The national energy company Ukrenergo has stated that on Friday, May 29, no rolling blackouts or other measures to restrict electricity consumption are expected in the country.

The company announced this on its official Telegram channel as part of its daily public updates.

Despite the stable situation in the power grid, experts are urging citizens to continue using resources responsibly. Energy officials ask that, whenever possible, the use of the most energy-intensive household appliances be shifted to daytime hours—specifically between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., when the system has a power surplus, largely due to the active operation of solar power plants.

At the same time, during the evening peak hours—from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM—consumers are strongly urged to adhere to maximum energy-saving measures and avoid turning on multiple high-power electrical devices simultaneously to prevent grid overload.
