Ukrzaliznytsia warns of widespread train delays in the Poltava region

Significant deviations from the schedule have been reported for a number of commuter trains on the railway lines in the Poltava region.

The carrier’s press service released this information, warning passengers about changes to arrival and departure times.

Currently, Ukrzaliznytsia’s technical services are taking immediate measures to stabilize the situation and return trains to their scheduled timetable as soon as possible.

According to the company, the longest delays are occurring on the sections between Poltava, Kremenchuk, and Berestyn.

The most significant deviation has been recorded on route No. 6531, the Poltava-Pivdenna–Kremenchuk line.

“Train No. 6531 Poltava-Pivdenna–Kremenchuk is running with a delay of about an hour and a half on the Poltava–Mala Pereshchepynska section,” the agency notes.

A similar situation has arisen with Train No. 6722 Romodan–Poltava-Pivdenna. According to operational data, this train departed from the Sagaydak station with a delay of 1 hour and 19 minutes relative to the regular schedule.

Train No. 6571, traveling on the Berestyn–Poltava-Pivdenna route, is also delayed. After stopping at the Magistralna platform, railway workers recorded a delay of approximately one hour.

Schedule disruptions also affected the return route to Berestyn. Specifically, Train No. 6572 (Poltava-Pivdenna–Berestyn) departed from its origin station 1 hour and 17 minutes late, which impacted subsequent operations on the track.

In addition to the aforementioned trains, delays are also being observed on other sections of the Poltava railway junction.

Train No. 6538 on the Kobelyaky–Poltava-Pivdenna route was forced to depart from Lishchynivka Station with a 55-minute delay.

As a reminder, Ukrzaliznytsia responded to rumors of an attack on the Kyiv train station.

Ukrzaliznytsia is also adjusting the schedules of commuter trains in four regions.
