"Ukrzaliznytsia" reports significant train delays on the Kharkiv route
Today, June 30, a number of passenger trains passing through Kharkiv are operating on a revised schedule due to significant delays.
The most significant schedule disruptions are affecting Train No. 7/8 from Kharkiv to Odesa, which is running nearly five hours behind schedule.
The press service of Ukrzaliznytsia confirmed that the vast majority of delays are caused by the effects of hostilities.
At the same time, the situation on certain routes has additional causes, including lengthy inspections during customs clearance.
As of 12:10 p.m., the status of train service on key routes is as follows:
- No. 7/8 Kharkiv — Odesa — delayed by 4 hours and 55 minutes;
- No. 17/18 Kharkiv — Uzhhorod — delayed by 3 hours and 23 minutes;
- No. 123/124 Kharkiv — Chernivtsi — arriving 3 hours and 8 minutes late;
- No. 1/2 Kharkiv — Rakhiv — expected to arrive 3 hours and 8 minutes behind schedule;
- No. 93/94 Kharkiv — Chełm — is running 2 hours and 19 minutes late due to lines at the border;
- No. 21/22 Kharkiv–Lviv—is running 1 hour and 53 minutes late.
Trains No. 7/8 Odesa–Kharkiv and No. 15/16 Ivano-Frankivsk–Kharkiv are also running with minor delays of 62 and 21 minutes, respectively.
In addition, hostilities have caused problems on other sections of the country’s rail network.
In particular, trains No. 3/4 Uzhhorod–Dnipro-Holovnyi and No. 31/32 Przemyśl–Zaporizhzhia-1 are also running with delays exceeding three hours.
Similar schedule disruptions are also being reported on routes leading to Sumy.
