The government will provide businesses with ₴15.6 million in compensation for the purchase of Ukrainian equipment

Ukrainian entrepreneurs who purchased domestically manufactured industrial machinery and equipment in March 2026 will receive government compensation totaling 15.6 million hryvnias.

This was reported by the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine.

In March, as part of the program, businesses purchased 41 units of Ukrainian-made machinery and equipment worth 125.1 million UAH. This is nearly 52% more than in March 2025. The government reimburses buyers 15% of the cost of each unit.

“For the second year in a row, we are seeing an increase in business demand for Ukrainian industrial machinery and equipment in March. For us, this is an important result of the ‘Made in Ukraine’ policy: businesses are investing in upgrading their machinery, and Ukrainian manufacturers are receiving additional orders on the domestic market,” noted Vitaliy Kindrativ, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine.

Compensation was calculated for products from 12 Ukrainian companies, including:

  • buses – JSC “Cherkasy Bus”
  • tank cars – TAS Poltavavagon LLC, Kryukiv Railway Car Building Works PJSC
  • tank semi-trailers – Everlast LLC
  • overhead cranes – Oleksandriya Lifting and Transport Equipment Plant LLC, Kyiv Lifting and Transport Equipment Plant LLC
  • elevators – Karat-Liftkomplekt LLC
  • forklifts – TDS Ukrspetstechnika LLC
  • metal laser cutting machine – Aramis LLC
  • Truck-mounted boom crane – Kyiv Machine-Building Plant LLC
  • container semi-trailer – Zmiyiv-Trans LLC
  • Low-bed semi-trailer – Trans-Auto-D

Since December 2025, Ukrainian machine builders have sold 94 units of equipment worth 291.4 million UAH. The amount of state compensation totaled 36.4 million UAH.

The largest purchases of equipment were made by companies in the Kyiv, Volyn, Kirovohrad, Chernihiv, Lviv, and Odesa regions.

The program providing 15% compensation of the cost of industrial equipment (excluding VAT) has been in effect since September 2024 as part of the “Made in Ukraine” policy. It covers equipment with a localization level of at least 40%.

To receive compensation, a company purchases equipment from the Ministry of Economy’s list through an authorized bank, submits documents (application, payment documents, and acceptance-transfer certificate), and then receives 15% of the cost back into its account.

As a reminder, the Ministry of Economy has expanded the list of Ukrainian industrial machinery and equipment for the sixth time since the beginning of the year, with the state compensating buyers for 15% of the cost (excluding VAT).

It was previously reported that the state will pay employers UAH 660 million in compensation for creating 10,000 jobs for people with disabilities.
