The government transferred three seized diesel locomotives belonging to the Belarusian Railways to Ukrzaliznytsia
The Cabinet of Ministers has transferred three seized diesel locomotives belonging to the state-owned Belarusian Railways to the management of Ukrzaliznytsia. The locomotives will be used to meet the needs of the Ukrainian railway infrastructure until the criminal proceedings are concluded.
The decision was made in accordance with Article 21¹ of the Law of Ukraine on ARMA, which allows for the transfer of seized assets to management in exceptional cases.
The locomotives in question are the 2TE10UK series No. 0275, 2TE10U series No. 0083, and 2TE10UK series No. 0227.
The Ministry emphasized that the equipment has been transferred only to the management of “Ukrzaliznytsia,” not to its ownership. Ownership of the locomotives and all procedural restrictions within the criminal proceedings remain in effect.
