The government has raised salaries for court staff

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a decision to increase the base salaries of staff members at local general courts who work under conditions of heavy workload. To this end, the government has introduced additional coefficients to be applied when calculating salaries.

These changes apply to civil servants in court administrative offices where the workload is particularly heavy. It is expected that this will help partially address the issue of compensation and support employees who perform their duties under conditions of increased workload.

According to the decision, the following adjustment factors are provided for:

  • 1.2 — if the workload exceeds the standard by more than 50%;

  • 1.3 — if the workload exceeds 100%;

  • 1.4 — if the workload exceeds 200%.

The list of courts to which the resolution will apply will be approved quarterly by the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine in consultation with the High Council of Justice.

These provisions will be in effect temporarily—for the duration of martial law and for an additional six months after its termination.

At the same time, judicial authorities note that the adopted decision does not comprehensively resolve the issue of compensation for court staff, but it is an important step toward its gradual increase.

This was reported by the Judicial and Legal Gazette.

Three professions in Ukraine with salaries exceeding 30 thousand were named.

The Verkhovna Rada passed a law on the taxation of digital platforms, which the public has already dubbed the “OLX tax.” The bill was approved by 241 members of parliament. The “Servant of the People” faction provided the most votes, while “Batkivshchyna” and “European Solidarity” did not support the bill.
