Since the start of the full-scale war, Estonia has taken in about 89,000 Ukrainians, but currently about 25,000 remain in the country.

This was reported by Annelie Kolk, Estonia’s ambassador to Ukraine.

According to her, some Ukrainians have returned home or moved to other European countries.

Kolk noted that Estonia is striving to provide Ukrainians with adequate living conditions and support.

The country has also established a special “School of Freedom” for Ukrainian children, where instruction is provided through a combined Ukrainian-Estonian curriculum.

According to the diplomat, this allows children to maintain a connection with their language and culture and seamlessly continue their education upon returning to Ukraine.
