Cold weather, wind, and sleet are expected in Ukraine on April 10
On Thursday, April 10, Ukraine will see cold and windy weather with nighttime frosts. Rain is expected in most regions, with wet snow in some areas.
This was reported by meteorologist Natalka Didenko.
“A cold snap is expected tonight, with temperatures ranging from +1 to +6 degrees, and frosts of 0–3 degrees in some areas,” the meteorologist noted.
During the day, temperatures in most regions will reach only +3…+7 degrees. It will be slightly warmer in the south and southeast—up to +7…+11 degrees.
Rain, and in some places wet snow, is forecast for the northern and central regions, as well as in the Kharkiv region. Rainy weather is also expected in the south, in the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
At the same time, no significant precipitation is expected in the western regions.
Winds will be from the north and northwest, moderate, with strong gusts in some places.
Rain mixed with wet snow is forecast for the capital. Overnight temperatures will range from +1 to +3 degrees, with possible frosts of 0 to -3 degrees in the outskirts. Daytime temperatures are expected to reach around +5 degrees.
On Saturday, weather conditions will not change significantly—it will remain cool.
On Sunday, April 12, Easter Sunday, intermittent rain with sunny intervals is forecast for most regions. Overnight temperatures will range from +2 to +5 degrees with possible frosts; daytime highs will be +7 to +11 degrees, and up to +14 degrees on the Left Bank.
A more noticeable warming is expected starting April 14–15.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center released a forecast for the second month of spring, according to which temperatures and precipitation will remain within the climatic norm.
