A network of illegal online casinos with a turnover of more than 141 million hryvnia was uncovered in Ukraine
Law enforcement officials uncovered an organized group that operated illegal online casinos under the brands “Dragons Gold,” “Slotoland,” and “Rino.” According to the investigation, over 141 million hryvnias passed through the scheme over nearly four years.
The investigation found that the group’s members operated without licenses and did not pay taxes. More than 58 million hryvnias passed through the bank accounts used to accept bets, and another 1.84 million USDT was received in crypto wallets linked to the network’s operations.
According to law enforcement officials, one of the organizers of the scheme was a practicing attorney. During the investigation, 10 searches were conducted, and five suspects have already been notified of the charges against them. The organizer has been placed in pretrial detention with the option of posting bail of nearly 5 million UAH.

Earlier, the Ukrainian State Agency PlayCity initiated proceedings to revoke the licenses of the online casino Betking, which operates through the legal entity SLOTS U.A. LLC.
The State Agency “PlayCity” decided to revoke the licenses of two gambling operators following an investigation that revealed their ties to the aggressor country. As a result, the Favbet Casino/Favbet Poker and Billionaire brands are effectively disappearing from the Ukrainian market.
