The Mission Control unified digital drone management system has gone live in Ukraine

In Ukraine, a unified digital drone control system called Mission Control was rolled out within the DELTA ecosystem over the course of two months and is now operational across all military units and formations.

Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on Telegram.

According to him, Mission Control records all drone operations and generates dashboards for analysis, providing commanders with a comprehensive overview of planning and the effectiveness of drone use in reconnaissance, strikes, mining, logistics, and evacuation. “After data is entered into Mission Control, the system generates a dashboard that is available within minutes for analysis and further planning of the unit’s operations,” Fedorov noted.

The implementation of Mission Control has made it possible to eliminate manual reports 5.31 and 5.32, which previously took several hours to complete. Now, data is available simultaneously at all levels of command—from the battalion to the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense—which speeds up decision-making and reduces bureaucracy.

Recently, Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov held a closed-door meeting with assault troops and infantrymen from 13 units carrying out combat missions on the front lines.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine began deploying a network of digital transformation specialists at all levels of the Armed Forces. Mobilized servicemen with expertise in information technology will be eligible to receive the initial officer rank of second lieutenant.
