Ukraine Has Established Communications and Cybersecurity Forces Day for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree establishing a new military holiday—Communications and Cybersecurity Forces Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It will be celebrated annually on August 8.
The decree was adopted to honor military personnel who provide communications and cybersecurity and carry out combat missions in wartime. The document also aims to foster military traditions.
At the same time, the 2000 presidential decree on Communications Forces Day has been repealed. From now on, it is officially replaced by the new holiday—Communications and Cybersecurity Forces Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, by his decree, designated February 5 as State Special Transport Service Day.
November 12 will henceforth be celebrated in Ukraine as State Bureau of Investigations Day.
