Indian summer is coming to Ukraine; meteorologists have offered a reassuring forecast

This coming weekend will bring warmer and sunnier weather to Ukraine. According to meteorologist Natalka Didenko, the long-awaited Indian summer is gradually moving into the country.

“Indian summer is already here, and it’s really picking up steam,” says the expert.

She notes that as early as this coming weekend, September 26 and 27, air temperatures across Ukraine are expected to be comfortable, ranging from +17° to +22°. At the same time, nights will be significantly colder, as temperatures will drop to +7°...+11°. “Therefore, mornings and evenings will definitely require warmer clothing,” the weather expert clarified.

As Indian summer sets in across Ukraine, the weather will be characterized by high-pressure conditions.

“This means there will be mostly variable cloud cover, a wonderful, mild autumn sun, and morning fog with haze,” explained Natalka Didenko.

Light rain is likely only on Saturday in the west and on Sunday in the east of Ukraine. “However, they shouldn’t affect the overall picture of this magnificent, beautiful fall,” she clarified, adding that the entire coming week will generally be sunny and warm. 

Weather in Kyiv

Warm weather is also expected in Kyiv this coming weekend, with daytime temperatures reaching up to +19°. It will be cooler in the mornings and evenings, around +10°...+12°. No precipitation is expected in the capital.
